This development was a long time coming. As we're sure many of you have noticed on the new uniforms, each team has been given it's own special font for numbers. Those same fonts will now be used to establish the way each team's name is officially stylized.
A word mark logo is simply just a team's logo for all things text related. The JAL strives to be like real pro leagues, and every pro league has one. Here's an example... The Denver Broncos primary logo on top and their official word mark logo on the bottom.
