League officials have moved Saturday's Opening Day games to Castle Rock Middle School Field instead of Riverside Park. Other events, in addition to JAL games, would have been taking place at Riverside Park at the same time Saturday, so seclusion and parking would have been more limited.
Tons of JAL games have been played at CRMS Field in the past and it has always been a great site for the league to play games. JAL officials say it was an easy choice.
Traditionally the 2-field setup at CRMS Field has been in the south corner along the fences. This time the 2 fields will be centrally placed in the middle and will sit side by side.
