On Monday the Lynx made free agent Jordan Halverson a $50/5-tournament contract offer to re-sign with the team. The former MVP decided to wait until today to accept or decline the offer, wanting to see if any other team in the league would match it. They didn't, and Jordan accepted the offer, which is now the largest contract in league history.
The Toutle Lynx have been the premier team in the JAL for the past three tournaments. They have made it to three straight WWCD Cups and won one.
Team Owner JoLynn McCully decided to cut Tierney Uhlenkott on Monday in order to have more money to offer Jordan. Now that they have retained him and still have Stephen Todd, the core of the team remains intact and the Lynx can try to continue their success.
