Joe Arroyo (36 years old, 5'7 - 175) is the team's latest edition. He was signed to a rookie deal this afternoon and is set to bat and field for the team.
On why Arroyo will help the team, Fish says he played baseball in high school and has played adult softball for the past 8 years. "He will be a well rounded player and is very competitive. He will help the underdogs seek the playoffs," added Fish.
The u-dogs now have three players listed as fielders: Macee Utecht, Trisha Martell, Joe Arroyo. Fish says he plans to do a 3-way starting rotation with them. At pitcher Fish added that he is now the team's ace arm and that Mosteller has been benched. Previously Mosteller was the ace and Fish was the #2. Mosteller is inactive for games on Nov. 12th but Fish said he will remain the backup even when he returns.
