Storm Release Luoto, Plan To Sign Someone Else

Adam Luoto had a bad reputation around the league about being an "unreliable" player even before he was inactive for the Storm Saturday for Opening Day. Today, team owner Zach Sheldon decided he didn't want to deal with Luoto any longer and released him from the roster.

The Storm currently sit 2-1 on the season and in 3rd place in the National Conference. On Opening Day veteran McKinley Franklin had arguably the best 3 games of his career and rookies Aaron Adams and Ethan Erickson proved they're players to build the future around. Sheldon felt no need for Luoto to take up space on the roster any longer and will instead pursue signing someone else in the near future.
