Most people consider and expect these two teams to be the best in the National Conference. Winner of their head-to-head matchup will hold the tiebreaker if they finish with the same record at the end of the season... Which could end up being the difference between 1st place and and first round bye in the playoffs, and 2nd place.
underdogs (1-2) vs Storm (2-1) — July 16 at 7 p.m.
The underdogs already hold a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Bison, a team they would likely need to beat out to make the playoffs. Another team presently in their way is the Storm. Holding a tiebreaker over both would be huge for the underdogs who haven't made the playoffs since JAL 9.

The Bambinos are in desperate need of a win. If they can pick up one in their fist game July 15 they might be able to get some momentum going. As for the Bison, these guys aren't as desperate, but their schedule on July 15 is incredibly difficult (vs Cobras, Bambinos & Waves). Worst case the Bison need to go 1-2 on July 15, and given the way the Bambinos are playing right now, this game might be their best chance to pick up that 1 insurance win.
