After digging themselves into an 0-3 hole on Opening Day, the Bambinos did not lay down. Yesterday the team came out with their backs against the wall and delivered by going 3-0. One of the wins was also over the undefeated and back-to-back defending champion Missouri Express.
With their 3 wins, Cowlitz is now up to .500 on the season and currently trail the Lynx (2-1) for the 3rd and final playoff spot by 1.5 games. The Lynx play 2 games later today however, so those standings numbers will change a little bit. The Kansas Lawmen (1-1) also play 3 games this evening and could potentially shift the Bambinos standing.
No matter what happens tonight the race for the 3 seed will likely come down to the final few games of the regular season.
What do you think... Are the Bambinos back to being themselves? Will they sneak into the playoffs? Do you want to see them make the playoffs, or would you rather have the Lynx or Lawmen make it instead?
