After roughly 2 weeks of rumors and reports that underdogs owner Cathy Woodruff would likely be replacing general manager Ryan Fish with someone new next season, Fish is cutting ties on his own terms. Fish has officially told the underdogs he is done as the general manager and that as a free agent player this offseason he plans to sign with someone else as well.
Under Fish as GM the underdogs did not make the playoffs last season or this season. They finished with a 1-7 record this season.
Underdogs players Trisha Martell and Joe Arroyo were both signed by Fish 2 seasons ago and are both also free agents this offseason. With Fish gone as GM, the likelihood of their future with the team is probably doubtful.
The underdogs have reportedly been in contract with multiple GM candidates since last month and hope to officially name a new one soon.
